Have you ever purchased a bottle of wine expecting a delicious libation and got something akin to watery fruit vinegar instead? Truly annoying. What about that favorite bottle of red that you couldn’t finish a few nights ago, but now tastes a bit off? Seriously lame. But there is a solution so that your money and potential enjoyment of a yummy beverage is not wasted.
Orange juice. Fresh squeezed or from the carton, both work, just depends on your preference. Just add it in a 1:2 ratio. 1 part juice to 2 parts wine, red or white. I like red. This tastes best if the wine is chilled, if you don’t have time for that just add ice, either way it should be cold. There you have it. This lazy woman’s sangria. It’s definitely not a fancy drink, but it is pretty tasty. And it has reclaimed many a disappointing wine.
